Axis Ofir Beach Resort Hotel - Esposende

The beachfront location of this hotel made it easy for me to enjoy fine ocean views right from my balcony. The swimming pool area was well-maintained and offered a lovely space to relax under the sun. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection that included fresh pastries and fruit. I found the dinner options to be lacking in variety and quality. The restaurant felt more like a cafeteria during peak hours, lacking comfort. The air conditioning in my room didn't cool adequately. Getting to the beach was also a hassle, as I had to navigate through some obstacles. While the staff were friendly, the service could be a bit slow, especially in the dining area. Still, the overall atmosphere during my off-season visit allowed for a peaceful getaway without the crowds.

Fairly clean place with incredibly nice staff and perfect view of the ocean and beach. Excellent drinks at pool bar, terrific service. Nice pool to relax in too.

Positive, I loved the beautiful location and the calming atmosphere. The staff were fabulous and super helpful . Breakfast was included and had great options. I enjoyed the lovely pool. My room was fabulous and had a fridge with water on arrival 🥤

Everything was very good and the view was fantastic. The staff was excellent and amicable, the breakfast offered was amazing with plenty of food. The room a nice size and airy and the beds were nice. The free parking was outside, good service.

Take advantage of the outdoor activities available and consider local dining options for a more authentic experience.

Location is fantastic - sea view rooms are worth the extra money as otherwise you will be looking on to the road or car park. Near by town Apulia has excellent restaurants along the beach front.

Rooms are extremely dated - the bath was pink!!! They urgently need an upgrade. The foyer and bar had been modernised but that seemed to be it the rest of the building and grounds definately need some tlc and didn't seem to have had any improvements since the 1960s

Though the hotel has its own pool and tennis courts, it is well situated close to the beach. Private transport is necessary if you wish to visit the many interesting places which are not too far away. This was my fourth stay at the hotel and, as my previous visits, was greatly enjoyed.

The room had a lovely garden view, and we enjoyed the buffet dinner with an ocean view at sunset. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of pastries, and we loved drinks on the lawn. The beach was right there.

I really enjoyed the price and the location of the hotel. The place is very quiet and relaxing.

The rooms are a bit old in terms of fashion. In my opinion they need some fresh air.

Enjoyed the great tennis courts and chill vibes by the outdoor pool. Fantastic view from the balcony added to the experience!

Accessability to beach

Broadband was very poor especially away from the Reception area.

Nice location directly at the beach. Natural reserve around. Separate pool area. Good breakfast with wide choice, in a room overlooking the seaside. Internet and parking free of charge. Generally clean (except windows). Seems to be a family place as we saw many children when we were there.

For me, it is not the standard of a 4 star hotel anymore, as it is a little rundown. The common parts (lobby, elevator area) have been renovated, but not the other halls and the rooms only partially. So you find stains on the carpets, broken deckchairs at the pool and the style is just not up to date any more. In addition, the windows were so dirty that you could almost not see outside.
